    What I happen to find most interesting about the quote sspo posted is......they quoted their own old litter-ature! Here they are saying we are bad for quoting their old lit! I mean you can't have it both ways....either it's ok or it's not.

    The only thing I think that might be problematic about this is if it is a violation of federal/state/local grants they receive. Normally orgs receiving such grants have to allow people of all faiths in. If so they are violating their contracts with the government, and possibly regulations too.

    It does conflict with their mission statement, strangely. Maybe the issue is you're not a youth. ;)

    Anyone can join the YMCA. It receives federal funding for specific programs. They are also supported by membership fees and donations. Like most NGOs.
