yes but the WT now quotes the alternate title to that talk - "millions now livingmay never die". That my friends, IS a fact.
Remember that Rutherford declared 1925 to be more sure in scripture than 1914. Millions now living would never die because "this system" had ended (thus "the world has ended") and we would enter an age in 1925 where death would no more have hold over mankind, because, obviously, the resurrection of the "princes" was to occur. Thus millions now living would never see death.
It was absolutely preached as a literal fact to be fulfilled in 1925. Ironically, the WT still refers to this statement but in a different light, that of the future new system. It had so much exposure they can never deny that the statement was made, only they twist the meaning of it.
For many years the JW's connected this with the 1914 generation. But of course we know that 1914, the generation of 1914 & 1925 (the real story anyway) have all been swept under the rug.

Rutherford said that "millions now living will never die" *because* the end was coming in 1925:
Based upon the argument heretofore set forth, then, that the old order of things, the old world, is ending and is therefore passing away, and that the new order is coming in, and that 1925 shall mark the resurrection of the faithful worthies of old and the beginning of reconstruction, it is reasonable to conclude that millions of people now on the earth will be still on the earth in 1925. Then, based upon the promises set forth in the divine Word, we must reach the positive and indisputable conclusion that millions now living will never die. --Millions Now Living Will Never Die, 1920, p.97
Despite this, in later years the WTS attempted to save face by implying that Rutherford's prophecy was actually made in reference to the "great crowd" who would not "pass away" (viz. the "1914 generation"):

As the gathering of the “little flock” of Kingdom heirs neared completion, Jehovah directed attention to an even larger work, the educating of a “great crowd” who would survive the “great tribulation” to live on earth in a restored Paradise. Thus in 1918 the president of the Watch Tower Society delivered a talk in Los Angeles, California, on a subject later to be repeated by hundreds more speakers, under the title “The World Has Ended, Millions Now Living May Never Die.”
Note the use of the word "Thus" in the quote above. Jehovah directed attention to the educating of the great crowd who would survive the great tribulation... THUS Rutherford delivered the talk Millions Now Living May Never Die. This despite the fact that the supposed identity of the "great crowd" wasn't determined until 1935. But hey, the WTS was never one to let the truth get in the way.

Bullshitting has to be jostled back and forth and spun appropriately or people will start to take noticed.
Some people took notice even in the days of Russell and Rutherford and became aware what these guys were up to.

Yeah and in 100 years from now they will say"the FDS was/is right millions now living will never
die before the end." However,by than there should be 144,000 partakes of wine/bread.Oh.maybe
