The point of the old song "How you gonna keep 'em down on the farm after they've seen Paree?" applies here. Once the brain leaves the org. it will never go back. Many DF'd have never really left.
Maybe I should just bite the bullet and GO BACK ?

I thought that way in the past and it caused me to go back. It didn't take long until I remembered why I left. I was miserable the whole time. Couldn't stand the meetings. Couldn't even bring myself to go door to door(thank god). It's just not worth it for the sake of maintaining pseudo-friendships.

i know how you feel. i finally jsut lsot the last thing i wanted out of my past life. my sister and i wish i would have tried to get them to accept my letter of dissasociation but i would never ever ever go back. why continue to subject yourself to negative thought patterns and mind control once youve seen the light. be glad you are free and living, and work on trying to enlight the people you miss... :)

No amount of money or conditional friends could ever get me to go back.

Promotor Fidei or not....if you brought this up that means it has been sitting somewhere in the margins of your mind on some level, imo. :-) Right?

Even if you go back how much time are they going to have for you socially? They're going to blow you off for field circus and preparing parts.
