    I was baptized at 14.

I helped the territory and magazine servant when I was 16. Also started working the sound box about the same time.

At 19 I was appointed as an MS and became the literature servant.

At around 22 or 23 we moved congs and I wasn't reappointed as an MS. Oh well; I think it had something to do with my refusal to give public talks (I didn't like public speaking at all).

That was one of the things that kept me from being appointed elder. I never gave a public talk...never wanted to. All the other MSs were giving talks at the home hall, but I wouldn't do it.

I never gave a public talk...never wanted to.

An elder approached me before one of the meetings and said to me (unexpectedly) "Is there any reason we shouldn't appoint you as an MS tonight?" I replied that "I won't give public talks" but he said that wasn't a problem. haha

    Flashback! I just remembered sumthin....

About a month before I was deleted as an MS for the last time, I was given a manuscript and told to learn it...in the next 6 months of scheduled talks, I'd be giving it. I wasn't asked if I wanted to or not, I was told I was going to.

I fretted about that for a bit but then by month's end I was deleted as MS. Problem solved.

I had forgotten all about that until just now...

I was appointed as a ministerial servant at age 20 . Gave public talks as one , service meeting parts, etc. for 6 years until age 26 when I had children and stepped down. Served as a regular pioneer from age 21 to 25 for almost 4 years. They were grooming me to be an elder by 30 - but I didn't want to play politics. I'm not a brown noser - not wired that way

I was 20 when I was made ministerial servant and I was in charge of the litterature counter.

I didnt get baptized until I was 19.

I had to get baptized so we could use the hall for our wedding.

It would have been better off if my wife and her family stayed catholic. We

could have had a real church wedding with half the baggage.

15 - ran the KH sound and designated who ran the mikes; unofficial territory servant as my dad didn't give a damn

16 - unofficial magazine servant (I remember spending quite a few study halls in high school re-organizing the magazine list)

17 - basically ran the KM as the elder was a lazy ass

    18 - unofficial literature servant

19 - pioneering on top of the above (except for magazines; glad to get rid of that)

    20 - officially appoint MS

    27 - left the insanity

    whoopee

    Just guys!? Excuse me...

Baptised at 13, pioneer at 17, pointing "sisters" to the available stall in the restrooms at District Assemblies at 18. That was when I peaked.

PS: For awhile we sisters had a tag under our name tag that said "Attendant." That was changed to "Restroom" when someone pointed out that no one who wasn't a "brother" could have such a "lofty" title.

Why not just say: Cate/Pioneer/X-congregation/toilet monitor!
