Here is what one dad did in our area years ago, or so the story goes- daughter gets beat up, stalked, etc... dad finally has enough and he & his buddies decide to teach him a little lesson, no permanent damage done but beat up nonetheless. The dad & buddies always played cards on a certain night and they were each other's alibi if any problems arose. The kid (over 18) never contacted the girl again and no charges were brought. Not that I am condoning such a thing, just repeating it.
