Oompa.."part of my post is that so many do NOT do what WT tells them to...they just blow off whatever they want to almost. A lot of young people are gettin away with murder....livin la vida loca".....Your right about that..Most of the Dub kids I grew up with lived double lives........#1:Do as your told by the WBT$ when JW`s are watching.................#2:Do what ever you want,just don`t get caught..

It's not just the witnesses 99% of everybody you deal with are walking around
in a trance they are sheeple, consumers, primed and ready to buy the next worthless
gadget and to have their minds numbed by watching the boob tube.
To help you understand what is going on start out watching the movie the matrix.
take notes and go back and reflect upon it.
Then read the 12th planet by zechariah Sitcin.
Then you can decide if you want to wake and stay woken or go back to sleep
with the 99% of the rest of mankind.
Dont think your free and concious just because you cut down the number of meetings you go
to at the kingdumb hall.
You may or may not be aware that there is a red pill and a blue pill.
But you havent taken any red pills yet.

Thank goodness we have enlightened posters like you on this forum, jaguarbass. I never realized I was a sheeple. Maybe it's because I've watched "The Matrix" but not read "The 12th Planet." Maybe I'm only half sheeple.
JWs have decided the WT is God's one true religion, and so their salvation depends on being in good standing with it. Since the beliefs change from time to time anyway, they conclude it's best not to get too attached to them. Better to focus on staying loyal to the organization.
An elder that was once my friend used to say, "I'd rather be wrong with the Watchtower than right by myself." The particular doctrines aren't what they are attracted to. It's the idea that they have found salvation through an organization that appeals. That's why I believe the WT is like a false Christ.
Because it's all covered up. If you were born post '75 you didn't know about the whole "armegeddon" thing that was going down. I sure didn't until I started researching.
Plus some info is not handed down to the rank and file - you only get to know about it after you leave.
Remember the organisation is not going to churn that stuff out in their new publications...."oh look, we were right idiots back then...."nope.
