  Well my wife met with the elders about our pre-marital activities. I told her I wasn't interested in going and I really thought I would catch some flak from the gifts in men about it. I was quite prepared to DA if it came to it or just be straight up DF'd.

  From the sound of things, though, they don't seem nearly as concerned about it as my wife is. She said the only personal question asked was, "Did you have intercourse?" She also said when they prayed with her they mentioned to Jehober that this was something that happened "many years ago". So they seem pretty over it. And she didn't throw me under the bus for apostasy.

  It's almost anticlimactic. Mentally I am really prepared to move on from this cult and save my daughter from its clutches. I think I'll keep the holidays going with an Easter egg hunt.

  I'd also like to add that doesn't this prove I was right to make her wait a long time before confessing? I wonder if they would have been so cool about it earlier on.

  Well... speaking from my own. My x never narked us out. I never told her not to. But I think the burden on her conscience led to 99.999% of all our problems.

  Wow this makes me crazy...why do we feel we have to be so open with our JW elders...we were taught to spy, sneak, rat on each other confess our inner most thoughts even the deviant ones....I've learned over the years that you are only accountable to yourself and God. I hope JP that your wife will in time learn not to be running to the elders. I used to do the same and it only brought me shame and guilt....

  Ok Jimmy, now to speed up her exit or shake things up a bit for sure......your turn....go tell the same guys you found out your wife did not come clean....that you guys had oral, anal, and vaginal sex and that you wife was insatiable backt then...but now...nasomuch.....and that now it bothers you....lol.........oompa

  I wonder how many JW married couples didn't fool around before getting married? Everyone I know participated in some form of, now what was the WTBTS term......petting, before marriage.

  Jimmy, typically if its been 2 or more years, the elders will pray over you, and call it good.

  You then get a wafer and some wine... Oh wait, wrong group.....
