A MUST read is "The Orwellian World of Jehovah's Witnesses", by Heather and Gary Botting. The reproductions of Orwellian Watchtower artwork is alone worth getting it. I'm not talking about "satanic" artwork, either, just artwork designed to evoke the kinds of emotions a cult like the WTS needs to get from its members.

My list is short and sweet. It is comprised of material that is available for free on the Internet.
1. The Elder's Manual (Pay Attention)
2. Paul's Letter to the Galatians ('Luther's Book')
3. Blood and Life, Law and Love (Chapter 9 of In Search of Christian Freedom)
If, after reading these three items, a person STILL wants to join the JWs, good luck.

I found a new book called The God Virus by Darrel W. Ray. If you read through that, not only will you have information about Jehovah's Witlesses, but you may well have reservations against joining any religion. At which point, you should be pretty much cult proof (at least religious cults).
