  Hi Bangalore,

  I agree with you. But to make it work properly they should replace all bad evil wolflike shepards and let nice loving spiritual men take their place. Instead of God's organization they should call it only as christian congregation. And losen the control over individual congregations. Because if spiritual men would take the lead in each congregation, then Jesus Christ would be able to lead them by his spirit and the already written word, the Bible. That is how it was meant to be. Christ to be the Head of the congregation.

  One "refinement" is that Satan's ouster is considered to have started in 1914 and ended by 1918 at which time the WTS teaches the resurrection of the deceased anointed started.

  sorry, i do not concur.....i believe it was 1874, but may be wrong, that they started printing "the watchtower AND HERALD OF CHRISTS PRESENCE".....and i think it was in 1874 they said jesus cam back invisibly and taught that for 50 years.....they taught the end of the world was coming in 1914 and of course BAILED on BOTH theses teachings....yet they survived.......these two facts alone should prove they alone have gods holy spirit pumping life into them.........oompa

  i would like clarification on these dates cited if i am off on them.....my memory is fuzzy on these dates............thanks.........

  Satan was ousted in 1914? Or Jesus arrived in 1914?

  If Satan was ousted in 1914 and sent to earth at that time......doesn't it make sense that Satan himself is setting up this Kingdom?

  Take a look at what really happened in 1914 and you will see that the Secret societies and the New age/golden dawn began to set up the priestly class. The 144 K will come through the Order of Melchizedek and groundwork was being laid and details finalized during that time.

  The first group of NGO's were established although NGO did not go by that ancronym as yet.

  Ah, yes, "You know." He was our favorite whipping boy on H20. Every year for five years straight he "prophesied" the coming of Armageddon, usually around September/October. His track record of "prophesy" exactly equals that of the WTS. He claimed to be a pioneer at the time and (I believe) a MS. Several people said he went around mooching off and living with dubs during that time.

  It's a good thing he found better things to do by starting his own religion. At least the WTS won't benefit from his book sales now.

  I'm sure it will. It is the prime vehicle used by the WTS for damage control and to insert "new light" whenever necessary. Even as a dub, I long suspected that many of those questions were forged by the Society and didn't come from WT readers.

  One can't help but wonder what kind of a God takes 4 years to oust one of his own Creations from heaven. If it "started" in 1914 and "ended" in 1918, what exactly was happening for those four long years? Was Satan strong enough to hold the fort and stick around, while God had to figure out a way to break Satan's defenses and finally get him out? Or was Satan holding on to poles or something will God was trying to drag him away for 4 years?

  Yet, the WTS says "Satan the Devil was hurled down to the earth." Doesn't sound like that to me. It sounds like he was kicking and screaming the whole way.

  And what exactly does it mean to "oust" an angel from heaven? Why didn't God just say "get the hell outta here Satan, or you are toast?" What kind of a God could be resisted for 4 years? Only a puny God, or a God who likes to procrastinate, methinks. Once God had made up his mind that Satan needed to God, why didn't he just beam him elsewhere.

  Oh, I know why! It wasn't God as in "God", it was the WatchtowerGod(tm) as in "made up bullshit about a God kind of God! Yeah! That explains it!

  If World War had never broken out I am sure 1914 would have been dropped by now.

  Many Witnesses have said for years and I believe that I even saw it in print once, that they "predicted" Word War I.

  There is probably something to this "confirmation" of the year 1914 that had indeed lead to The Watchtower as a business/religion lasted as long as it has.
