no! parents decided to become jw when i was about 4yrs old. big mistake it was, and felt this was so from 4yrs old on until i became strong enough to walk away in my late twentys. so much was lost and can never be regained. the little sad face emoticons do not even come close to how i feel.
hope
Sacolton, I was also a Methodist. I can still remember writing the little church I went to as a child and asking them to take my name off their role book. Isn't that wild? Do you still believe in an Almighty? I do and I am trying hard to keep that.

Born a Catholic. Made the conversion when I was 24

Yes, I do. I just don't think any denomination has a monopoly on God. I doubt Jesus considered organized religion the path to salvation. I consider myself Christian (I believe in the deity of Jesus) and don't glorify a man-made denomination. Stay strong.
I was technically Catholic, but I did nothing with it (in fact, I refused to even go to church after I was about 9). After about 15 years of practicing various forms of atheism and agnosticism, plus experimenting with the occult, I got snagged as a witless. Now, I worship their Devil--freedom of thinking.
I converted from a severely mentally retarded state to having a lower labotomy....
I was born into it.
I was a born in DAMMIT!
But you guys who converted are interesting specimens , keep the stories coming!

Yes, I agree, it is interesting. I'd like to know why everyone converted to JW as an adult.
