It’s like putting a fox in charge of a hen house, just because he has a lot of experience with the chickens.
I found them, in general to be the lowest form of Christians, they were too fond of bending the rules themselves, but will instil it in others.

I have had that scripture used to get me to pay for rides to and from the boasting sessions. They thought that I was not carrying my load just because I didn't pay (it was less than an extra block away, at a marginal cost of perhaps 5 cents or less in gas and time).
I guess they never recognized anything about economics, marginal costs and marginal benefits, opportunity costs, and the like. I will carry my own load, so long as the marginal benefits of doing so exceed the marginal costs. In the case of going to the boasting sessions, the benefits were negative. Hence, I refuse to carry my load in that department in any way.
