All the "Wait on Jehovah" crap is part of Dub circular reasoning, they start from the assumption that it IS gods Org. and then believe that he allows it to lumber on going this way and that, and sometime might give it a nudge back in the right direction.

Thing is Dubs, it is NOT and NEVER WAS God's Organization,so why should He even give it a nudge?

If He was going to sort out an Organization, surely He would start with the Catholic Church?

Truth is he dosn't care,he deals with individuals as he always has done, not organizations.

"Don't run ahead of Jehovah" is right up there with "Where else would we go?" Neither makes sense from a rational point of view.

Both are thought blockers designed to keep followers in the organization when they start to notice things that don't add up.

It's funny how a mere mortal being can figure out a teaching is wrong before Jehovah does. Maybe he should be worshipping us.

That's my feeling exactly! "Running ahead of Jehovah" is such a ludicrous idea.

"Running ahead of Jehovah" means getting doctrine right before the GB gets around to gettihg doctrine right.

"Wat on Jehovah" means letting things continue to stay screwed up and let people keep getting screwed up until the GB finally gets a clue that it needs to fix the problem that is screwing people up.

"Testing Jehovah" means calling the GB on its bullshit.

    This is all Bible-Based.

"Waiting on Jehovah" translates to me as "We don't have a good arguement for that, so sit down and shut up before we need to take judicial action."

There were brothers in Austria in the 1990s who heard the Society were about to change their position on whether Witnesses could do "alternative service" instead of military service. But the article was not to be published for another few months and they had to make their decision immediately. Reasonably they decided to accept "alternative service" even though the "new light" was not official yet. On directions from the branch they were duly disfellowshipped, presumably for "running ahead of Jehovah".

"Don't run ahead of Jehovah" and "wait on Jesus" are thought stopping sayings that are cut from the same cloth.

It would seem to infer that Jehovah could conceivably lag behind in the race to discover (or reveal) the truth. How odd.

The best one is 'leaving the teaching of Christ' that they like to cite. Since when was 1914 a teaching of the Christ?
