Which of the Society's presidents did you like the least?

  While I was a Witness, I never liked or cared for J.F. Rutherford. Even with the Society's whitewashing and trying to make him look like one who was part of the seven trumpet blasts in Revelation, I could not stand the guy. I could not understand why the Jehovah would pick and use such a person to get his word out. How about you? Who grated you the most?

  i hate rutherford. What an ass. Even the WTS doesnt talk much about him anymore.

  although i bet he threw the best parties what with the mansion and swimming pool, the cadilacs and the booze even under prohibition, the sex (his secretary or nurse or whatever he called his personal 'F' buddy) o what good times those would have been!

  Rutherford. Apart from the fact that he was an ass, I think he was a cynical one at that. I think for the most part the others were believers but I think Rutherford was in it for the power and lifestyle only. There was nothing "spiritual" about that man.
