1. The WTS explanation

2. Our personal opinion

3. What other religions/groups/individuals outside the WTS have said?

Out of everything you have heard, and sifted through, what is your personal opinion?

What do you imagine Armageddon to be? Will it be a clash of apostates and religionists? Will all non JWs be sent to live in one area where a volcano will errupt and kill them all off? Will millions die all on one day...or will Armageddon take place over a period of months or years? Or do you imagine it was a lie just like paradise?

Since the word Armageddon occurs only once and in the Bible..............what real basis is there for anyone's beliefs?

Do I believe that humans have the ability to destroy themselves, yes....does that mean that is Armageddon....not enough information.

I don't worry about maybe disasters in the far future; there is enough real possibilities right now that I have no control over. And there is no reason to believe any of them are "Armageddon."

I remember when HIV and AIDS came to the fore in the 80's. A number of JW's in my old cong thought that Jehovah could use it for Armageddon, that may be it was the start, that way all the JW's would be protected and all the evil sinners would be killed. A couple of elders had to difuse the situation and little counselling in the 2nd school was in order.
