Snowbird, for myself, I feel that I'm finally "home" spiritually. But it was a long journey getting here and every place I've "visited" on the way was instrumental in getting me to my final destination. So I'm not really bothered by what others say about Christianity because I don't know where they are on their path to finding truth and fulfillment in their lives. And I don't bother trying to convert people because my faith teaches that the Holy Spirit converts hearts, not people. All we can do is try to provide a good example and pray for each other's conversions.

So I don't usually get rattled here because I know how hurt people have been by the WTS and that, if they are going to turn to Christianity, it's a matter that is between them and God. All I can do is try very hard not to be a poor representative of Christianity and turn them off to the idea of it.

Some days are easier than others on here. I think this can be the case on both sides, but sometimes it's as bad as being attacked by the JWs when the atheists get going.

LOL! I vowed to keep out of those long atheism/scientific threads. I must keep true to my word ;)

Attacks come from all sides here but there are blessing too. I just keep my head down when I know shots are likely to come.

My advise is don't retaliate or ping-pong replies if things are spiraling downwards. Also, forgive and move on. Love universally, even those who despise you, mistreat you, slander you and such. Pray for them.

Now I need to practice what I preach with my wife :)
