I see more tolerance than ever here on JWN. Nobody will perfectly engage in the rules, whether they be poster or management. I believe the managers here are trying to keep this place fair, friendly and respectable. Unlike God, they cannot judge hearts or motivation but I do think they succeed in getting the point across that we all need to play nice. The history here is that they do not always accept critical comments as being constructive. Sometimes a criticism is fair and justified and othertimes, it's simply not. My take is we don't know every detail that goes on behind closed doors (ex elder here talking) and we may not know all the facts. Having said that, I'm glad JWN is giving people the chance to have communication and I hope it remains open to all, even those we may not see 100% eye to eye with.
For suggesting such a thing I think you should be banned from this website....Simon please go ahead and get rid of this evil person.
I have found lately that those posters who support the J W side have sometimes been treated harshly, rudely and even told to go away, by individuals not the mods. That, I believe is wrong. A discussion group is to listen and give answer to other peoples views, not to try and shut them up.
I would just call for restraint if someone says that the J W's are the greatest thing since sliced bread - we can surely defeat their arguments by reasoned discussion...
BB---RIGHT ON!
LadyLee thanks for the feedback. I don't doubt that's your personal viewpoint but I don't see that attitude in others, either mods or users. I see a lot of intolerance and putting down allowed at times then at other times quickly acted upon. Why the double standards?
We are a small group of mods. Therefore we cannot possibly catch everything that is posted. To a great extent we rely on the posters to alert us to problems on the forum.
If things do get missed, it might seem like a double standard, but hey if you see something let us know and we will take care of it.
Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought that buzkid is, in fact, none other than ILOOWY.
Is this news to anyone? Am I wrong?

Most internet sites that accept user posts have some terms of conditions and violation of these will result in accounts being locked or removed. Most places also edit or remove inappropriate content.
That doesn't make Microsoft, Google, AOL, Yahoo, or HERE in anyway like the WTS. Saying it does really diminishes the hurt that the WTS causes.
"yeah, being DF'd and losing all your friends and family is soooo like having my account deleted for posting porn"
It isn't.

LOL! Good one. Helps to keep things in perspective.
