i swear if i was locked in the toilet stall they would crawl under the door to make sure i touch the glass........

i so dread going this year after skipping last year........the jw memorial service just creeps me out....the one little nuance that is stoopid and kinda funny is how much effort goes into everyones hands touching the glass and plate...i mean even the passing attendants who touch it dozens of times while passing it.....then sit down and pass it to themselves....then one will go hand it to the speaker and he used to hand it right back but now i think he takes it back to the table

how formal are the instructions from WT on this "pass the glass" festival?......and do they still sometimes call it a "celebration?".....geeze that pisseth me off....

Apparently there is a great deal of symbolism in the Memorial celebration. They have to make sure that everyone present actively rejects the body and blood of Christ. Only in that way can they be certain that the attenders have chosen the organization over the Savior.

If you can't or won't drink any, the least you can do is spill it, on purpose, right on the carpet. Make it look like an accident. And do not offer to help clean it up or pay for the clean up (that comes out of the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund).

Better yet, just don't go at all. If you get a "headache", you might be able to get out of it. And, if your wife makes you take some aspirins, an "upset stomach" will probably get you out of it. Even if you get some magnesium for the headache, explain that it is going to take some time to work, and that there is a good chance that you will relax right into going to sleep (probably true, since magnesium will relax you, and you may well be tired from dreading the REJECT Jesus Party).
