Cal, I'm so glad to hear you were able to influence the speaker. You're right, the infomercial approach to weddings and funerals only bewilders family and friends who are not JW's. It's tacky and works to the opposite direction of the influence. Rather it rubs people the wrong way and makes them cringe.
