Can you believe they didn't have any because of cut backs from the congregations to serve. CAN EVERYONE SAY PLEASE, SOMETHING TO HELP US TO KEEP US FROM SLEEPING IN THE AFTERNOON! A@G, The KH doesn't look very full in those pictures. Maybe they all went to the beach? And what's with the "joyous holiday"? They make it sound like Christmas. In Bethel, we were reminded that it wasn't a time for parties or laughter. It was supposed to be "sober". A couple of years we were even discouraged from accepting invitations to gatherings after the Memorial.

The article reads like a paid advertorial and it would be heard to imagine it sinking without trace. Was there provision for readers to respond to the article? if so, were any negative views expressed?
That picture of Rachel and her children was striking. They had a severe 19th century look on their faces. They did not look happy. Maybe the photographer caught the at a bad moment.
