That has to be one of the stupidest accidents I have ever heard of. Now, what if that "brother" gets reinstated? (I hope not, but suppose he does). The whole thing will have been for nothing, just because the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger has put out so many washtowel articles (and now, the Keep Yourselves In God's Tyranny book) threatening that, if a person talks to a disfellowshipped person, that person can get disfellowshipped also and share in the "sins".

And I wonder if the "sin" is something stupid like questioning a recent washtowel article.

So, african GB you have inside knowledge do you? You know for absolutely sure that the hapless witness was trying to avoid a recently disfellowshipped witness? Did you observe it firsthand? Were you there? Was the disfellowshipped witness pursuing the witness?

Who cares if it really happened it's funny! I've certainly been shunned to the point that it COULD have happend. I had someone try to run away from me in a store and fall on their ass. The best part was going over and helping them up and brushing them off hahahahaha...

As they say, laughter is the best medicine and your stories are a good contribution!

I especially liked the one about Memorial where the woman is wailing and making a scene during the solemn ceremony because her husband claims annointed priveliges and will be in heaven while she gets stuck on earth.

Sometimes humor will help others see the ridiculousness of this religion where you may not have gotton through to them any other way.

I hope he was ok. Such a terrible shame that the shunning rules were applied to a terrible degree by this brother. Reminds me of the good samaritan story. How awful that the Df'd person did the good deed and STILL was shunned by the brother!!

Even more relevant, as the Jews viewed Samaritans as "apsotate".
