Uhhh, I TOTALLY missed that point.... Guess I was thinking simplistically and in black-and-white terms - talk about still "thinking like a JW" even after 24 years! I'll have to start a thread about that...
I just had a "knee-jerk" response to the idea that "liberals" would be anti-birth-control... That concept (misperception, now I see that..) totally floored me and prompted my initial response.
After reading your latest post, I can definitely see where you're coming from... As I stated in one of my PMs to you, "I tend to jump up onto my soapbox when it comes to birth control - I felt - and still feel - so strongly about not over-populating the planet [and ourselves - into extinction] that I had myself sterilized when I was of breeding age... "
As to your comment that you don't believe in contraception, yes, I'm sure we'll be clacking heads at some future date - amicably, I hope... Considering your above post, I assume you meant contraception for normal people engaging in intimate relations, as opposed to people who wouldn't be capable of caring for their offspring??
