Sitting at the meeting this week the brother on stage said Elder A_____ has an anouncement....we all know what that means DISFELLOWSHIPING! But who? {This Elder I spoke with before the meeting and he did look stressed} "Brother B______ is no longer a Jehovahs Witness" Sister C____ is no longer a Pioneer and has been Reproved..." WTF! Brother A ____ spends every waking moment Witnessing, he's alittle irratating with every sentence containing the term "Jehovah." He has S.S.S or "Super Spiritual Syndrome." Low and behold this Pioneer brother and Pioneer Sister are both in trouble and I doubt it was for gambling! Brother A____ is an incurable romantic who's divorced from his wife who "left Jehovah." {He writes Poetry and songs doesn't own a T.V} Needless to say shockwaves are rolling thru local Congs. as our "golden Pioneers" couldn't keep there hands off each other!

Anyone from my Cong reading this shame on you and......guess which brother I am!!!!!

In my jw's kh there were two pioneer's who were also df'd for immorality. I don't get it, jw's claim that a man & woman cannot go out in fs together alone yet it seems to happen quite frequently. Are pioneers above those rules? are they considered too spiritual that they would never develop a relationship together?

Anyway, thanks to the wt and their insane works rules and having these two spend so much time together pioneering two families have been destroyed. Both with small children. Yes, divorce is prevelant amongst all religions, incomes, and races, however, in the jw's it affects not only the couples & children but entire generations due to the shunning policies if one should leave the wt entirely due to shame or final relief of not having to play the wt bs game anymore.

So were their situations linked? I was told they normally do not announce it on the same night (not that people don't know).

You don't actually know why they were disfellowshipped, you're just jumping to the juiciest conclusion. Whether you are right or wrong is irrelevant.

    Shame on you!

This reminds me, of a girl who was a pioneer in my last congregation, in her mid 20's, I think she was the only pioneer they had if I remember rightly. She was always being used for demonstrations, in the KH and at assemblies. Everyone thought how wonderful and spiritual she was. As is usual she worked part-time as a sort of secretary. Her family were all JWs as well.

It was about a year after I stopped attending, that I heard she had upped and left the congregation.

My son later on met her brother, who was a sort of "on/off" JW. He told my son that she had been DF'd.

From him we learnt that this girl had been having an affair with the guy who she did the secretarial work for and they had gone off together. But what shocked everyone was that it had been going on for about 2-3 years at least. So while "Sister Wonderful and Spiritual" was up there on the platform at the KH and assemblies, telling us how she got her hours in, or demonstrating how to preach.

She was having an adulterous affair with her employer. Not one single person knew about it.

I believe over time the rest of her family left as well, Father, Mother, and brother.

Aniron, can you think of a better way to get those pioneer hours in than by "witnessing" to the unbelieving boss... in his office... once or twice a day?

Witness 007: Yeah, I knew a married Service Overseer and single pioneer sister that were both removed and publicly reproved. A short time later, they "encouraged" each other to do better, consequently they were both disfellowshipped.

I think the real source of the problem was that the brother doesn't own a tv. What else are you gonna do with that missing tube time but relieve some sexual energy?

The Super Spiritual Pioneer Service Overseer in my old congo is still an elder and pioneer though he enjoyed looking at porn and got caught.

I knew of a PO's wife and another elder of a little rural congo who were doing the nasty IN the KH during the slow afternoons.

I knew of a couple of married couples that were rehearsing for more than the drama they were all in. Can you say "Wife Swap"?

All verified experiences. I sat on the elder's meeting for the first one with the CO deciding if he would continue (my vote was the only one against him). I served as an elder in the congo of the second experience a few years after the incident (the PO and wife were divorced by then, the two baddies were married and reinstated and causing all kinds of ruckus by their presence). The third one I was in that circuit briefly and spoke to the elders who JCd them. Who need soap operas when you have this? lol

I once knew a worldly co-worker who used to say to me..."when you JWs go on the wild side, you go waaaay wilder than us non JWs." I had to laugh at that observation.
