The JWS are probably the most over hyped religion around , they continually claim
that the next talk is special and important and to make sure not to miss it and try invite others to the talk.
Its almost like a salesman started the whole thing , oh wait a second it was started by a salesman.
You got to hand it to old Charley Russell he knew he could sell both Paradise and Armageddon once they were combined.
After each talk he gave I'm sure he had stacks of books and other literature that he sold, just like they still do at the assemblies today,

I always thought these talks were "special" in the "short bus" sense. They are dumbed down in the hopes that there will be "first-timers" who loved the memorial so much they had to come back for more. Gotta give these newbies the "milk" and put on the best face for the cult. I always thought these talks were painful even when I was in.

Just spent the afternoon with my dub mum and dad. I knew they were at the meeting this morning but they didn't say a word about it being the special talk today. No doubt it was SOOOOO riveting they forgot to mention it.

The most special talk I ever attended was the "special" talk in 2003. That was the last time I set foot into a kingdom hall.
