I read it on a post here. I don't have any direct proof. As far as the facts go, I would defere to your conclusions, since you have more direct information than I do. I assume that you agree with Penton's statement regarding Russell.

Yes, I would agree, I know Jim, we have talked in the past, and despite all the rumors, no one has ben able to show a shred of evidence that Russell his father or even his uncle were free masons.
Strange enough all these books and articles and website, and NOTHING, and when you ask, they say "of course, it's a secret society!" To which I have to laugh because SOMEONE, must have seen some documentation, and if it's out there show it to me. Secret society or not, secrets have a way of being known AND proven.
