I'm sure the site gets a ton of hits. First there are those truly dedicated dubs who will visit every so often...and once you learn to negotiate the site, it's easier to look up some articles there than it is to drag out an index.
Then, there's people like me...who go there and use their own writings to prove a point in how screwed up their teachings can be.
Then, on top of that, there are people who actually go there to learn about what JWs teach or believe. It really is the way to do it. Go to the source, see what they have to say and then go to the critics source and see what they have to say. It's like buying a car. I'll go to the manufacturer's website, check out the specs and pricing and then go to other sites that compare models, review them and list the issues of that particular model.
But, I'm sure the anti- sites get more hits, mostly because those of us who have left it behind don't have the prohibition about being wary of the Internet when it comes to negative things about the religion.

Crap! I added about 40-50 hits to that site the night I looked up - and linked - a bunch of information for that "tpdgtt" who may - or may not - have been a troll....
I was very careful to present the topics to her in groups... as in "The Jehovah's Witnesses have a fear/fascination with Satan - they believe he's real..." and then I listed the most paranoid articles on the WTBTS website I could find....
Hope she gets the point... Zid

I give the website hits all the time, they have the NWT on the site that's searchable. So whenever I'm answering all the messages I get off my youtube channel their website gets a few hits from me.

They might get 3,000 hits a day. I have hit that site, but I am not encouraged--I find something to write another article about it and throw it back in their faces.
One good idea is to click the "Yes" button and then give them a bad address. You give them an address that is out of town, on a street that doesn't exist or a number on that street that is either non-existent or is known vacant. Then the witlesses will call on that number, hoping to find the interested person, and they will only waste the morning before realizing that the street and/or house number doesn't exist. Of course, that will be counted as part of this tally.

I don't doubt that they get that many requests, in all actuality however I think that the numbers provided show how little the Watchtower utilizes the internet. You have a worldwide organization that has spent billions in printing and facitily construction (core to their "preaching work") as well as hundreds of millions of hours in volunteer outreach and all they get is around 90 people a day that have "interest"? Lame.
