I'm completely fed up of hearing people call Bush an idiot. Disagreeing with the man's ideology is one thing. Disagreeing with his policies is one thing. Saying he's not articulate is one thing, assuming that the same standard is applied to everyone. But, he is not and never has been an idiot. First of all, he's not only a college graduate, he holds a master's degree. Regardless of what you may think, one cannot be an idiot and hold a master's degree. Secondly, he won not one, but two presidential elections, and led our country for 8 years. Post 9/11, he had the highest approval rating of any president in history. At the time, he was someone everyone could and did get behind. An idiot can never hold such esteem.

I am much more apt to consider someone's opinion if they show just the least hint of proper respect. When they don't, my opinion of them drops drastically. I'm not naming any names Beks.

Doe what makes you think you're the only one entitled to your own opinion? I said ignorant. And I find it disgusting that he in his ignorance brought us to where we are today. We are not talking about the aggressively ignorant brothers that brought all the youth down to the front of the stadium in St. Louis, and told them not to marry or have children because the time was so short. 65 years ago!!!!!!!!! That was bad, real bad. But this guys ignorance has turned the world upside down and killed thousands of people. His aggressive ignorance allowed a bunch of criminals to run our country! I'm not speculating or engaging in hyperbole, there have been convictions and there may yet be more. He had no more business being in that position than you do. But he had wealth and family power behind him. Never worked a real damn job in his life.

There are many other people on this site who hold my views, yet you do not take it upon yourself to harass them as you do me. I've tried to be good to you, but frankly I'm sick of it. Fuck off.

Perhaps this is about semantics. Let's just say that Bush is not an idiot. But there is some designation that would fit a man who has presented himself in such a manner as to appear to be such an opportunist. Thousands of lives have been lost, apparently to no purpose. That is heinous. Mr Bush is the responsible party. What else would you call it?
