It's easier to sneak out during the second song sitting in the back.

I liked sitting down front, it was the only way I could pay attention to the incredibly boring talks.
And my kids were well behaved, even as toddlers.
My x-husband hated it though, So I only sat there when he didn't attend.

It is embarrasing if you fall asleep
Everybody knows if you leave to visit the toilet
The speaker looks straight at you
You cannot see who else is there that day
There is nothing and nobody else to look at

You can't watch people and see what they are wearing, talk to your friends, pass notes, or daydream in the front row.

It's far more entertaining to sit in the back and see what everyone else is doing. Watching an ill-prepared dull speaker present boring information is just dreadful - any distraction is welcome.

Ha, that is what I was thinking babygirl!
I got counselled once when I was DF for sitting on the front row. I got to the meeting late and the front row was the only place to sit. I was told that people would not recognize me as being DF on the front row. It really pissed me off, I went to allot of trouble to get my family and myself to that meeting, my son was flying in that morning, and his plane was late AND the airport was an hours drive away! I lived in Kerville, TX and the airport is in SanAntonio, so you can imagine what time I had to get up and get back to the KH with a meeting starting at 10:00. Anyway, I said to the elder .........Maybe it would be good if you just had a big DF tattooed on my forehead so people would know!!! Oh yeah, I told him too, that he needed to make sure all the people in good standing sit in the front rows!!!!
Even when I go to a concert I don't like to sit in the front.

In today's modern world, it makes texting and fiddling with ipod earbud wires easier to conceal...

I always preferred a recliner, at home.

More to look at when you're sitting at the back.

Just think how horrible it would be if they were to accidently say hello to you. Their consciences could be damaged irreparably.
