I'm looking for web site links to credible information about present governing body members specifically personal tax and financial records (personal U.S. and offshore bank accounts, net worth, financial and real estate holdings, blind trusts). As public figures they're fair game.

I wouldn't get too excited at
1. Your prospects of finding their financial records and
2. The prospects of their being any juicy info in locating such records....

You will never get those records. End of story!

Tired of the Hypocrisy
Imagine what you would feel like if someone was going after your personal records and information. I think like me you would be outraged. These men are among the worst that humanity has ever produced, but they are entitled to their privacy. I know what you mean though. It is always nice to have proofs to help people see the truth, but the jw's don't seem to respond to proof. Apparently like me they have to get TIRED of the bs before they start digging for proof to support their views.

This blows me away. First, that you think the GB are embezzling funds or whatever - but more so that you don't understand how to obtain this information.

You know how to get personal tax records and offshore bank account balances? Do tell.

Hey TheBoss,
What's happening?
Sorry I can't help you, but if you do find anything out you'll have to share.
Unfortunately these GB members lose their rights to privacy due to their bloodguilt. If they have done nothing wrong they have nothing to hide.
Besides, privacy on these matters is over-rated. If one is not a lying and deceitful a-hole, then one should not beoverly concerned about others being aware of how law abiding they are or are not. To steal a biblical proverb... you reap what you sow.

This is in reply to those asking why I need to delve into the grapevine's underbrush to find information I as a financial executive should already know? Simple. I employ one of the best undercover investigators in her business, a former intelligence professional. This lady has caught teens with fearsome I.Q.'s with nothing better to occupy their time than to hack the company internal network hidden behind the best firewall money can buy. She has also brought certain, shall we say, domestic issues into the daylight, leading to remarkable Bible-based repentance, resolutions and new beginnings.
That said, she has not only scrutinized the governing body, but tapped out her resources. No offshore accounts were found, for that matter, not even bank accounts or social security numbers. If she didn't satisfy her own curiosity they even existed by taking the Bethel Tours, she would swear in a court of law they do not exist. In all her years of investigations and covert operations, she is baffled beyond belief at their invisibility. The only evidence they exist is their presence behind the Watchtower castle walls and occasional diminishing appearances before groups of Witnesses. Fact of the matter is that stated with deliberate ambiguity, even her sources in governments of the world's two largest empires have nothing on them except for one agency that allegedly has file cabinets and encrypted files filled with intelligence on them. I asked her one day "what are these men, aliens from outer space" (while LOL) and she didn't seem to find my attempt at light hearted jest the least bit amusing.
You might say my post on this bulletin board is like a roll of the dice, with extremely low probability of any payday in information, as you yourselves have confirmed with cynicism. I also know some of the most prolific ex-JWs in the world of very high net worth have considered information about Mother of this sort as the Holy Grail of potentially damning revelations, or possibly exoneration, about the true heartfelt motives and intentions of men on the governing body of Jehovah's people.
By the way, a few years ago, she said that after getting "a little too close for comfort" on a Bethel Tour, a colleague at her offices found highly sophisticated surveillance devices, then in her home, both removed. They were on an anti-trust case so at first they wrote it off to corporate espionage, but methodically eliminated the list of suspects, leaving you know who. I heard rumors that elders and C.O.'s have found surveillance devices in their residences but could not trace the source.
In any case I kept reaching dead-ends to blind alleys and have bigger distractions now the recession or depression is full on. My inquiry was serious but my motives were admittedly of the "what the heck, why not give it a shot?" nature. Ironically if anything goes up on the web will likely get ordered pulled down, considering Mother has eyes and ears on every JWesque type of web site. Well intentioned efforts to post confidential information seem to get stymied by Legal's efficient engine of inside information repression, before it ever gets to the counter-intelligence level.

Honestly it does not surprise me that there are no records. In Ray Franz's book he described himself on the GB, taking trips, having a car provided, etc, but none of those things were paid for by him and nothing belonged to him. The GB are well taken care of and their expenses are probably considered 'business expenses.' They do not need to own a great car or house to feel powerful, all they have to do is walk down the hall and soak up the 'worship' of the witnesses who trip over themselves just to gaze upon them.
This also comes in handy if, like Ray, they have a less than honorable dismissal from Bethel. No money, no skills, no life, therefore no paper trail.
