Outlaw, don't listen to them, after it has healed, if you can still walk without falling down, don't get knee surgery.

I have a friend that hurt his knee when he was a teen. It would ache occasionally, but he could do anything he wanted. 20+ years later, his doctor talked him into surgery. After the surgery the knee would fill up with fluid and he had to go in to have it drained, every few weeks. He had another surgery and now it is better, as long as he doesn't climb stairs, it is much worse than it was before the doctor talked him into surgery.

OUTLAW- In 1988 I was working on top of a high rise and accidentally sliced my arm open with a brand new razor blade about an eighth inch deep by 2 inch long cut. It did NOT bleed as I barely missed slicing a blood vein. It was the first day for a new roofing employer so I duct taped my arm up and worked a normal 8 hour shift without saying anything. Later got butterfly bandages at the store and fixed it myself with Neosporin.

Also in 1999 at age 40 - the damned doctor who performed my vascectomy accidentally pierced a blood vein in one ball during the procedure sending me into a freaking pissed off caniption fit ! For 10 days I suffered swelling in one nut to the size of a grapefruit as I had a bleeding Hematoma . The doctor wheeled me into a day in/out surgery to fix it and whispered before I went under, " I'm not going to charge you for this. " To me- that was an admission of guilt by him. Bastard. But I'm cool now

not mine, day before yesterday my son wrecked his 4-wheeler, no skin from elbow to fingers.......hole in elbow he should have gotten stiches but waited too late to get to doc, just went today. We got more pics, my son wanted me to put a site online for Big Bruised Butts and try to make money off his bruise!!!!

Good evening JWD!!..Thank you all for your comments,concern,support and humour!.........I`m still pretty banged up,but today at least I can drive..I never realised a Keecap injury could be so painfull..I was able to walk without a cane today so I must be healing up!!................................LOL!!...OUTLAW

I was beginning to worry a little about you. Thought maybe you got stuck out there in the wilderness with the bad knee. Maybe got surrounded by some hungry wolves. Fending off with a stick and a meaner growl. Glad you are back. Take care of that knee.

There`s 100 ways to die every day, in the wilderness.....Wild animals..Loosing too much blood if you cut yourself badly..Breaking a bone and not being able to move or call for help..Hit black ice on the road and go down a cliff..Ect..Ect..........I`ve been in some bad situations.....And..I`m still alive!!...............................................LOL!!...OUTLAW
