Their reward is getting you to do what they want. Remove that reward and they'll eventually get bored with trying.
Call them out. Say they are being manipulative and you won't play the game!
(Incidentally, a jw relative of mine did this same thing and never followed through with her threatened action.)

well what i did is got drunk told my brother where to go and my mum and dad that i wasnt going out with them
they were so upset i made my facebook private but hew said its still not good enough that when i turned to the drink,
later i fell downstairs ended up at hospital not able to walk and with a blackeye (not a good look for my new job) i know its my decision and i should of just stood up to them and still had the association we were going to have instead i have upset them more than ever SIGH
one postive thing is they know im not going to change my veiws and they think i hate the witness and they are saying they accept that if i stop hurting them by drinking too much and being apostate!
