I used to listen to Radio Prague on shortwave around 1989-1990. Last September I had the chance to visit Prague. I was there with my sister and we marvelled at all the buildings and statues. We took the river tour with a buffet and live music, a man playing an accordian. I was delighted when those communist regimes collapsed one by one. Freedom is a challenge though. Some people want someone to decide things for them and tell them what to do, but for those who want to figure those things out for themself, freedom is like fresh open air.
