I am not sure how I am identified by the sister who is studying with my wife and her husband...I have noted that she has only come around when I am at work...but I have not had a chance to ask any questions of her yet....we are supposed to be reading chapter 8 of bible teach....

I struggle to try not to be labeled as a spiritual opposer, but I think when I get in the situation, unless I can really hold back, it will be quite evident, maybe not to my wife, she seems starstruck again, but definitely to the dubbete and the husband (both born ins).

Because they are born in, maybe a good question here and there will cause some thinking...but I think the critical thinking skills are all but gone.....

He was a reactor operator for a while, think he is dealing with safety and training at the plant now.....that seems to me to be a good dub job, another area where there is no room to think on ones own, do what the book says to do.

Even though I do not officially get the apostate label, I try my darnedest to be considered one! My jw already knows my feelings about the cult and their ungodly drivel but I find if the jw's in town think I am satan in the flesh they will keep away from us when we are out. I like that. I do not want to small talk with them at a bar, at breakfast, or when dining out. I don't want to see or hear about them. If I could join up just to be df'd so I would be assured absolute no contact I would.

I try not to be a threat. I feel like I disrespected every nonJWs belief for enough years, and I in turn did not want to repeat the behavior. So I have a modified "Bonafide" approach for anything they say is "good" in JW right now. I just look at them no matter what it is and say "Wow, that's GREAT!!" And they kind of look at me and blink.

But I have no reason to cause divisions. So they don't have any reason to take any action against me. And as far as faith goes, it's delicate. I don't have it any more, but they have just as much right to theirs.
