When organizations constantly ask for money and donations, you have to begin questioning things. Are they doing this for God or for someone else? Methinks others benefit.

Just like ancient Israel, yes, and I feel they will receive the same judgement.

The scriptures they use amount to an admission of corruption. (1Corn. 15:50 NWT) advises that flesh and blood cannot inherit Gods Kingdom since it is corrupt ... Decidedly, the answer must be YES.

I'm raising this question because too often, people want to give the Organization a free pass by saying, "The men are good spiritual men and they believe it is The Truth"....Do they, though?

And not just regarding $$$. How can they possibly not know the blood issue logic is ridiculous? Or that the FDS doctrine is more than questionable?

How can they possibly not know the blood issue logic is ridiculous? Or that the FDS doctrine is more than questionable?

Or the date changes such as generation or sealing of the anointed are only due to time running out on the doctrines that were in place at the time....the two witness rule for child abuse, the covering up of the old publications, what the teachings of the WTS were when they were 'selected as the true religion'...........too many to list. What about those who died while not accepting an organ transplant, and then overnight the policy changes and it became ok......

yes, all these factors indicate that either the leaders are totally stoopid or they are no good. I can't see having it both ways.

When Ray Franz was a GB member, I get the impression he and other GB members truly believed what they taught. (That still befuddles me). Are these guys so close to the problem that they just can't see the foolishness and dishonesty of it all? I bet Barbara Anderson could answer that one accurately!

"The men are good spiritual men and they believe it is The Truth"....Do they, though?

After 140 years i truly believe that the GB does realize that all their claims of being the only true religion and

being used by Jehovah is nothing but lies.

They cannot be so stupid into thinking that they are special when they got nothing to prove it with and to show for.

The answers are all over the map. Corruption is hard to define. The word can refer to moral principles and standards, once held, are now in decay. Or it can mean an enticement that induces one to do wrong. Finally, it can mean a departure from the original or a standard once deemed pure or correct.

It's that latter definition I usually mean when I use the word in connection with the WTS.

That's not to suggest the WTS was once "pure or correct," but that they had original doctrines that they taught for years and millions of people were persuaded to come aboard and share these beliefs. Then they began tossing those doctrines under the bus, one by one. Thus their original teachings became corrupted.

POWER first and foremost with money a close second-and the purpose of the money is to perpetuate their power- is what they desire.

Also, psychopaths tend to rise to the top of all hierachical organizations insuring that the organization will be corrupt.
