ants? aaagh! I've got ants! don't they realize half of their friends are not coming back because I keep squishing them? I hate to have to find & kill the whole darn hill of them but it is war! I have bleached the counters, the windowsills, and all fruit & other non fridge foods are stashed away in the micro or oven! off to get ant poison!

Yes, I have noticed it is going to be a bad year for ants. It can be a struggle to get rid of those pests.

You could also wipe everything down with some good hot mexican sauce it might help but in the long run it seems they win the battle.

Summer was terrible for ants.....I killed millions ....I really hope they don't look up at me and say....."Jehovah? Is that you? Why did you kill little Timmy?"

We have had ants terrible this year,
A friend of mine brought over something this past weekend,
Some kind of poison on aluminum foil, I don't know what it is but it worked!!!!
The ants eat it and go away, don't die right then, which is great! And no more have come back!!!!
So today we have just a few and not hundreds taking over.
I will try to find out what it was that she gave us, she said it worked for her too, she said the
ants were so bad in her office that the floor looked totally black!!!

Its a good idea to find out where they come in - ants usually have 'highways' between home and their destination - try watching and see! If you put any ant killer straight across their trail, they'll all walk through it and pick up the poison on their feet and then take it back into their nest, killing more ants before they even leave.

Purps, I'll be it was Terro bait that your friend used, that stuff is amazing. You have never seen anything like the way the ants go after it, and then they are GONE.
I don't kill ants unless they are huge fire-ant beds or inside the house, but then all bets are off!
