Isn't it rather that JWs say they are hated because they love to be hated, it gives them consistency. Rutherford had understood that marketing rule long ago.

He deleted most of our comments, although all that I read should've been very encouraging to him. Then he rambles on and on about how jws are hated. Oh well, maybe a seed was planted.

Silly boy - at 15 he should be concentrating on schoolwork - his English is somewhat poor. But I suppose he'll be leaving school very soon anyway. Poor lad.

JWs insist they're hated and persecuted, yet simple common sense shows this isn't true. As for 'persection' in other lands, well, I imagine they are blatantly breaking the Law by preaching where they KNOW it to be unlawful (so hardly 'persecution'). I heard it said not long ago that JWs suffered more in concentration camps than the Jews .

JWs are hated on Saturday mornings, Christmas morning and during the Super Bowl. The rest of the time they are relagated to nonexistence as a bunch of religious kooks who deny their kids birthdays. They get mixed up with Mormons and Christian Scientists....and told oh...arent you the ones who dont drink coffee? Arent you guys the ones with multiple wives? Or are you guys the ones who dont believe in doctors?

Its all a big ball of whothefuckcaresaboutthemanyway.

I do not hat an individual JW, I loathe the organization for ever recruiting my wife's family, because due to her being brought up in this cultic environment, she has never been able to get it out of her mind and continues to have sporadic flirtations with it.

When I was in the organization, I was under the assumption that most non-JW's were well aware of us and were just counting their time they had left in this system of things. Then after my departure, I was shocked how little JW's figure in the general scheme of things. Most of the folks I have been around since then only know that JW's do not accept blood transfusions and do not celebrate holidays,and many are not even aware of that.

I was in the lunchroom one day and overheard a man nearby "educate" his table-mates about JW's. He said "Jehovah's Witnesses are the folks who come to your door and ride bicycles and have those backpacks. They also have to wear at least one piece of green clothing to their church services." Yes, the JW's have witnessed well.

The reasons why they are hated are legitimate. First, they pester and hound people to join--even pestering known apostates with No Trespassing signs on occasion. They do not know when to stop--how often do they come to the doors multiple times within a month? Some territories have the witlesses pestering people every week! That disrupts them each time, and each time they have to tell the witlesses that they are not interested. Do Not Call lists do not work--the witlesses still pester them about it. Sometimes they even impede traffic to do this--street work where a person is made late for work because there are 50 witlesses each trying to place a waste of paper, customers in stores not able to reach merchandise because there are too many witlesses, and even witlesses in college trying to get everyone involved.

Next, their rules are stupid. The witlesses do protect the pedophiles within the organization, just to make the illusion that it is clean. Yet they ban Christmas and birthdays, making problems for people that work in industries that may involve participation in those events. They are often moved to hate Christmas to the point where they take down decorations before Christmas or ruin them. They have a no-college policy that makes for people to not be able to find work in the future. They recruit small children--showcasing children as young as 6 getting baptized. All of which can impede normal activities for legitimate businesses and create headaches for Welfare later.

Also, they violate many laws. They are known to twist words in court, just so they can get recognition. After that, they will practice unethical things that keep people enslaved. They lie in court to get children in with witless parents. after busting up families so the children will be pure witless instead of having the chance to see both sides. Recently, they have stated that a person should not have to choose between family and religion, or suffer loss for changing their religion (see also the Keep Yourselves in God's Tyranny book, released last summer, for the other side of that story).

Is there anything not to hate about that?

I was surprised at how many I met who had negative experiences with JW's......their family ,friends etc who got involved .... but no hatred... they just thought they were weird
