the new song book will include 100 songs from the previous book, along with 200 new chants which will simply repeat the line "The GB is God, The GB is God" to different 'melodies' and keys.

Noticed this expression - announced upcoming release. So presumably not released at the convention but through the congregations (maybe for the new service year or from Jan 1st.) At least it will keep the brothers on tenterhooks. The days of doling out vast quantities of free literature at the conventions seem to be over.
Did your congregations have practice sessions singing the new songs? Brother Tonedeaf and Sister Outoftune belting them out. Dire....

I wonder how many blasphemous songs will be in the new Kingdumb Malady book. The last one had two that were blatantly blasphemous by their own standards (the singer pretends to be Jehovah)--songs 27 and 61. Funny thing, when I mentioned that, they did nothing about it. Yet, when I mention the word "crap" in a record, they stop it and throw the whole album away. By my standards, being blasphemous in a song that is supposed to be used for worship is much much worse than a word that is moderately dirty in a song that is for entertainment--especially when they claim to be the only ones properly worshiping God.
And I wonder how many witlesses are going to get rid of their now out of date Kingdumb Maladies when the new ones come out, and waste another $1,600 on a whole collection of new Kingdumb sxxx. I am not predicting any of the new Kingdumb Maladies to be any better than the ones we now have--nor am I predicting much better variety than the 225 songs we now have. Nothing like the more than 12,000 songs in my personal library out of more than 2,500 CDs of music (worldly music, at that). And I am not paying any $1,600 for crap like that--I wouldn't even pay 16.00 pennies.

How many songs are in the old one? If only 100 are transferred to the new one, how many were left out? Also how many of these 100 were edited and why?
