Regarding songbooks, I have a vague recollection that the 1984 songbook tweaked the wording of a few songs from its predecessor. In particular, a few old songs used the word "aids" and the 1984 songbook replaced that word with "helps." Am I remembering this correctly? I believe this was a result of the AIDS outbreak in the 1980s.

I remember the pink/purple/red/maroon softback songbook. Vaguely, I was a kid when the new one came out. Keep your eyes on the prize was the last song I remember. The current one has 225 songs, so if there is 100 holdovers then they are dumping over half. I hope they keep the good marching songs like firm and determined. Hate the lyrics, but love feeling like i'm in a Wagner opera. ofo
