The explanation I got is that the people who reconstructed the skeletal remains of dinosaurs made mistakes by using bones from other animals. Therefore, there was only a few dinosaurs, but many of them didn't actually exist.
I heard that it was to create coal and oil for us to use.
Well, well, how shortsighted of god!! Even we humans (now) have the foresight to move away from fossil fuels!
