I should add that the recent "new lights" (no more "end of the heavenly call" in 1935, no claim of "special insights" for the individual "anointed"; which of course respond to "political" necessities for WT leaders) should probably make for a less conflicted approach to this issue, and potentially less "weird" new partakers as time goes on... unless it has the opposite effect of lessening the "attraction/temptation," which they probably hope for. ;)
Why are some of the Memorial partakers normal people?

Q.: Why are some of the Memorial partakers normal people?
A.: There are many paths from neurotic to psychotic; some take the scenic route, some take the express lanes. All get there eventually.

Very interesting posts. I never thought of that. So some of the "normal" ones that begin to partake do so because they come to the realization that the Bible is directed at THEM.
So instead of thinking the Organization is WRONG, they start to think they are ANOINTED!
Wow.

cattails-That's great! No more sitting around watching.
Next year I'm partaking too! I'm a child of God through faith.
If that's what Jesus said to do to remember that's what I'm doing.
Amen! Believe Jesus, have faith in His body and blood, ask Him to forgive your sins.
Luke 5:20 (New International Version)
20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."
Once you have, take the symbolic bread and wine in remembrance of what He has done and declare in a loud voice "JESUS IS LORD".
Romans 10:9 (New International Version)
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
1 Corinthians 12:3 (New International Version)
3 Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.
Soon after, you will have to leave the "kingdom hall" because they will call you a "trouble maker".
All the best,
Stephen
