Yup, that's the wt gospel. One thing though, they used to teach that the anointed who live through karmageddon would continue living their natural lives, and die of old age, or whatever. They would help to kick start the 'new system' 'paradise'.

You got it correct dude....So you better try to keep your self alive until the big A otherwise if you die before then goodbye sex!!!
Can you imagine all those resurrected ones how will they feel? NO SEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"*Do not Resurrect* list" - ha!
The whole thing is just so insane. Satanus has it correct, that is the wt 'Gospel". That is the 'good news' that jw's want everybody to know. How unlike the Apostles who's 'gospel' was Christ.
And where exactly does it say in the bible that exactly 144,000 are the annointed ones? I looked in the reference at the back of the NWTotHS, I see annointed, I see ones, but no 144,000 number. Is this something else they pulled out of their ass or what? And why does god NEED and or WANT 144,000 people to rule over earthly people who have decided already that being a dub is the best thing evah?
144,000 - Every dub knows that it's in rev 7 and 14:) As to why god needs them to rule the earth, the wt excuse is that they can have better empathy in bringing them to perfection, since they had been human, previously. Apparently, the wt god isn't so good at that. I'll try to find the quote for that.

*** w75 2/1 p. 88 par. 7 Keep Looking, Keep Moving Forward with Jehovah ***
7 What a pleasure it will be to step forward after the “great tribulation” into the cleansed earth and to experience the start of the thousand-year reign of Christ and his bride composed of 144,000 men and women purchased from the earth! They will be turning their attention to humankind, with a view to raising a large family of perfect sons and daughters. What loving parents these will be! Moved by love and compassion, they will begin their parental activities, giving the guidance and help needed for the tribulation survivors to overcome their weaknesses and imperfections. Then, after Jesus Christ raises the dead to life, the bride will work along with him in aiding the resurrected ones to start growing to perfection. By means of what Christ and his bride will be doing for humankind, the tent or tabernacle of Jehovah God will be with men. (Rev. 21:1-4)
So, when the bible says that god will live w humans, the wt says that that isn't actually going to happen. The wt god may as well not exist, for he does nothing directly. Anyhow, the above quote does explain their view.

Ok, ok, i found it:
*** ka chap. 6 pp. 115-116 par. 81 Priests for Ten Centuries with No Scheming Priestcraft ***
81 And what about the 144,000 spiritual underpriests, who “will be priests of God and of the Christ . . . for the thousand years”? (Revelation 20:6) Well, God foreordained them “to be patterned after the image of his Son.” (Romans 8:29) They also have been born and grown up as men and women, as humans, but sinful, imperfect, badly disposed because of inheritance from rebellious Adam and Eve. They know therefore what it means to be a weak sinful human creature. So, too, like their High Priest Jesus Christ, they can be sympathetic and kindly disposed toward sinful, dying mankind. They were that way when yet on earth as spiritual underpriests. They will be just the same way when they share in the “first resurrection” and become heavenly underpriests. They will not have to die and regretfully leave their work uncompleted. No, but by having the “power of an indestructible life,” they can join and keep up with their High Priest in carrying on the sin-removing work to a perfect completion. With what result? All the willing ones of mankind restored to sinless human perfection.
S:)
Wtgod doesn't know what it's like to be weak and imperfect. That;s why the 144000 get the job.

Thanks for all of your comments, any more are always appreciated....I have tried to understand the JW version of 'life everlasting' and their resurrection so I decided to write down my understanding of what it is and ask for concurrence.
Had made a comment similar to this on another board.....if one is not 'one of Jehovah's Witnesses', life everlasting is all about timing, die before armageddon and one has as good of a shot as those who are baptized JWs, all being a JW really gets you is a ticket to pass through the big A.
In a sense, if a JW is concerned about people having a chance at life on paradise earth, they would have a better salvation rate by killing householders than by trying to start a study.....
The closest illustration of JW resurrection I have seen is in the recent Battlestar Galactica series. The Cylons had a resurrection ship and when one of them died a new body would be formed in a tank and their memories would be downloaded into the body.
Wow, I just realized this is another sci fi religion just like Mormons and Scientology.
