Perhaps we should see who can find the earliest crosses existing, here is my contribution:
    Roman ring, 4th-5th century (www.ancientresource.com)
Who ever made this clearly intended to make a cross, and thought it to be with a cross bar.

Is there some sort of "skull and bones" message going on here? Could this be a subliminal message as to who could be responsible for the murder of Jesus?

I know that. If you will look deeper and ask more questions you will see how absurd and gullable it is to accept the answer you just gave.

It is called "place of the skull" because supposedly Adam's body was buried there. However, Jewish writings state that Adams body was carried on the ark. Fact is, how could anyone really know? If Adam's skull was there, then why is the human family traced from Lucy and not Adam?

Oh, and furthermore, one explanation given for golgotha being called "place of the skull" is because excavations have render deformaties in the hillside, making it take on the appearance of a skull.

Frankly, I think all of those above explanations are cockamamie and bogus. It's like someone is grasping at straws to cover up or give an explanation for something to cover up what it really means.

I think that artists were trying to leave hints about things which could not be spoken. There are many other crucifixion paintings which have Illuminati symbolism in them.

For instance, there is a (triptich) painting by "Master of the St. Bartholomew Altar." I cannot find a copy to link to to present it here, but you will have to look it up. This crucifixion painting was rendered c. 1495; at the foot of the cross, a character is holding a large T-square. The skull and bones imagery is very much forefront. But one of the oddest elements of this painting is a beastly creature that almost looks like a dog reaching up. Upom enlarging the painting, it is a ghoulish rendition of the Lion Rampant reaching up and joing his paw to the hand of a man in a red robe. The man in the red robe appears to be the holy law giver as he is carrying "the book". The lions paw and the mans hand mesh and melt together as one.

There are many paintings from 1300-1500 era that all have symbolism which can be identified with "illuminati".

Illuminati is not any big mystery, beta. It is simply those who are born into the capstone. The controlling elite. Those who direct the plots and maneuvers. And don't think it doesn't exist or isn't so. How many years were you directed by these plotters through a cult religion? And yes, Illuminati are the organizers behind all religions. Illuminati directs commerce, religions, and politics.
