What UNUSUAL MARRIAGES have you seen among JW's? (page 4)

I think one of the most crazy hook-ups I saw was a sister that had been married 5 times!!!! Three before becoming a witness, the other two as a sister.

She had her eye on a brother in our congo, he moved to Texas and she followed/ moved/ stalked down there to be close to him. I think she had to come back or he did, I can't remember which, but her and I were out in service and she told me that she told him ............Your in love with me but you just don't know it yet!!!!

Well, they did marry a few years ago, and as far as I know they still are. R.F. should know the couple I am talking about.

My cousin was 23 and married a 47 year old widow whose husband and two sons died in a freak accident. That was about 20 years ago. She died a few years ago of cancer, and he remarried a woman about 20 years younger than him. These people reek of bad luck!

BTW, JW's are some of the only people I know that do not feel uncomfortable hitting on a relative. I think it beats the alternative of marrying a *gasp* "worldly person".

I know a couple (Crawford) that are 1st cousins. Weird! They must be kind of old by now.

Not unusual, but they were so stunning ................... I saw them in a European country, mid 20s, the woman was VERY white, very pale, and with extremely white / blonde hair, and all dressed in white - and he was VERY black (perhaps a politically incorrect expression, but oh well), very much so, and dressed all in black - so they were REALLY eye-catching, and enjoying it.

Oldhippy we had a similar couple in our hall, she was a very pale red head and he was dark to the point of black.

It was very eye catching, they looked so exotic.

A brother I know married a sister 36 years OLDER THAN HIM. He was 35, she was 71.

Heh, I knew a pair that got married...must have been almost exactly those ages. I also remember him saying how "the sex is good." He was a bit strange, to say the least.

I see nothing politically about calling a person "very black."

Did they have any children?

Some of the most beautiful children I've ever seen are those of very pale and very dark parents.
