    * Can you please explain to me, using only the Bible, why anyone should believe that today's Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses (or the "Faithful Slave Class" of the Jehovah's Witnesses), is the "Sole Channel of Communication" between God and men?

    Let's try again.

Having confidence that you are the only ones preaching the true mesage is not a sin especially if you are literally the only ones...show me one other Christian faith that acknowledges Jehovah as God?

All Christian religions acknowledge that Jehovah is the God of the Hebrews and the Old Testement. Hell, they had it on the wall at the CATHOLIC hospital I used to work at.

This is another one of those false dichotmy's JW's love so much.

"This is one question I particularly dislike because it is a made up wrongdoing by apostates"

    FAIL

I've posed this same question to my die-hard pioneer MIL and cannot get her to give me an answer based on the bible. She will spout off the answer that comes from a magazine but when pressed to use JUST scriptures from the bible, it can't be done.

I asked her one time how we know that the Christian Greek scriptures are meant for the anointed only and she could not answer that one either, which goes along with Jesus not being the mediator for all mankind but just the anointed. I always found that one very hard to swallow.

nice evasion Reniaa...you started out with accusations...then asked questions and quoted texts but did not answer a very simple yes or no question. Interesting

The problem here is that you can't prove the GB is the faithful and discreet slave. When really pressed to prove it a JW will reference the scripture that says "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave.......yada yada yada?" But that proves nothing. In fact it's really an implimentation of the fallacy of reasoning called begging the question. Then they proceed into a process of circular reasoning as Reniaa did earlier on this thread; and when you press harder they whip out the ole' apostate label to shut you up.

    Classic cult tactics.

Did the early christians think they were the only faith people as a church that taught the way on Jesus's and his father's behalf and so people listening to them and inspired utterences that were given them would saved?

Since when is confidencec iin preaching you are the only ones preaching God's saving message about his son a wrongdoing?

show me were the scripture is that says its wrong?

If you want proof the are the 'sole channel' in these times goto the bible!!! I did and find their message does not deny bible truths like Christendom's but thats my own personal choice.

a reading of chapters 24 and 25 shows simply a series of illustrations, all said a different way and each adding another detail...admonishing Christians ti keep away since they do not know when the 2nd coming will be here...the one of the talents makes it plain that 24:45-7 is simply asking a question- not saying there is 1 FDS...since 2 of the 3 slaves are good. The appointing over all his belongsis simply privelages in the kingdom, while those evil miss out and go to hell...as ch 25 exlplains...

Why do you think we have the bible?

so we can sit at home thinking ourselves 'wise in our own eyes'? Or go out and gather together in groups and be blessed by Jesus's spirit guidance into doing the works our faith in Jehovah inspires in us?

Yes they did, but JW's are not the early Christians. First century Christians had actually seen Christ, or could talk to someone who has. Has the GB seen Christ? Do they talk directly to him? When you really examine the historical record the beliefs, practices, and organizational procedures of the first century Christians are nothing like JW's.

Here's a question for you, what was the organizational code for the official time slip that the first century governing body required all first century Christians to turn in each month?
