"more fully" - a worthy feat if you can do it

"change the paradigm" - I suppose we might want to change a model verb conjugation, but I can't understand why and how we'd go about it

"disassociated" - sounds like a salt that lost its saltiness

"disfellowshipped" - words only good for scrabble

"we can see from this scripture...." were that true there would be no need to say anthing more besides reading it

"with all due respect" while thinking you are a jackass or a fool and preparing to publicize your opinion

"obviously" neat way to end an arguement before it begins

Any prequalifying term makes me nervous such as "to be honest", "trust me" "I don't want to start a fight but..." etc. Such a preface makes me think the opposite. I sort of assume honesty and for someone to explicitly state they are being honest this time, calls up all sorts of questions about other conversations.

Here's a good one, 'he made a quantum leap'

The implication is that its a big jump. Problem is that quantum differences are really quite, quite small. The term just refers to the fact that it is a discrete phenomenon not a continuous one.

    "It's not that bad."

Well, if its not bad, then is it good? It's not that bad? I just cannot stand that phrase. Often used to defend the WT's actions....trying to minimize one's doubts and concerns..."The Society hides pedophiles? Brother Snakes, it's not that bad, really."

I hate the one that had been popular recently "but I digress."

I used to know someone who always would say at the end of a sentence: "and what-not."

ei: There are many cute accesories for pets at the store, toys, clothes.....and what-not."

That used to really get to me.

    during public talks a lot...

    "also, too"

also: 1 :likewise 1 2 : in addition :besides, too

too: 1 :besides, also <sell the house and furniture too>

reminds me of stuttering. Only these folks can help it....'cause they learnt how to speak on the Theocraptic Misery Skool..... Tyring to look smart and looking dumb instead.
