I'm trying to post pictures of barns with the slogan, but can't.
I know this is hijacking; the memories just won't stop!

How about training bras with a pink bow and you just died because people could see the straps throught your white blouse?
Felt sorry for those girls. Why do boobs need to be trained?
I love 60s/70s memories. Unfortunately I can't contribute much in the way of cosmetics since I wasn't allowed to use them in the 70s.
I do remember women using a thick coat of this on their hair, after baking their heads in those ovens with rollers on. Their hair was so damaged and covered with this glue-like stuff, their hair never moved, even on a rainy day.
Thanks, Outlaw.
If anyone can post pictures of those barns, I would really appreciate it.

This sorry thing refuses to post pictures.
Remember Octagon soap? Pure lye that cleaned everything.
After a hard day's work in the fields, we had to scrub ourselves with it, and then a second time with the "sweet" soap - Cashmere Bouquet, or if you were really top dog, Camay!
LOL.

My Father used to wear Old Spice. Every meeting he would drench himself in it, and his Bible, Attache' case, and everything he touched smelled of it. I can still smell it even though my nose hasn't been around it in many, many years.
I used to wear Florida Water and Bay Rhum while growing up. They had a nice, spicy fragrance. My Mother used to get mad at me when I would put it on, and she would always ask me why I insisted on smelling like food. It wasn't like I was smearing KFC on myself, it was a nice spicy fragrance with overtones of cinnamon and cloves. The Florida water had more of a citrusy, spicy fragrance. It kinda reminded me of an old-time Barber shop smell. I was constantly complimented on it at the Kingdom Hole when I wore either one. I recently found the Florida Water again, and treated myself to a bottle, and occasionally I wear it even if I am going nowhere and just staying put in the house.
A couple people have mentioned Sun-in. When I was 22, I decided I wanted Blonde Highlights. So I went to the store and bought a bottle of Super Sun-in, sprayed it on my Jet-Black hair, and laid out in the sun for over an hour. When I came back inside, I looked in the mirror, and my hair was Garfield the Cat Orange! Bright, Flourescent Orange! It was also a meeting night, so I had to go to the meeting that way. I was so embarrassed. People were laughing and joking about it. Thankfully the next day, a Sister dyed my hair back to my natural black color.
LOL in appreciation at Ohio Cowboy.
Kingdom Hole - priceless!

Heck - my first cologne was a hand-medown bottle of Old Spice (remember the commercials?).
It was my dad's. Along with his razor (dangerous blades!!!) and stiptic pencil - which I used a lot when I first started using that razor.
The Old Spice... being that it was about 8 years old - had fermented. Well... let's just say that it had an 'old' scent to it. When I bought a new bottle - it didn't smell the same.
I later moved on to other colognes.
Oh. And I learned to shave by watching the TV ads. Especially the one (Noxzema?) with the fella shaving to that song - usually associated with strippers - with the gal in the background saying, "Take it off! Take it all off!" <barrum-de-bumm ... da da da bumm de bum...> (bump & grind?)
I also learned to tie my necktie by watching old movies.
Anyway. memories.
I saw Rock City. Did you, Sylvia?
