Did anyone notice in the movie when 'they' went to Lucinda's house to see if they could learn anything, as he was looking at the wall there was pasted old newspaper articles of disasters. One the pages on the wall was a picture taken from THE FINISHED MYSTERY book by the Society.

Well I haven't seen the movie yet but it sounds interesting.

RR where do you think the WTBTS got the picture from that they put in the "Finished Mystery Book?"? They are good at "Recycling" Song, pictures etc.

Or do you think it was their own originality?

    Snoozy..

It's possible that it may have been recycled. However, most of the illustrations during the Rutherford era were drawn by actual JW's. Particularlt the illustrations found in the Golden Age.

I saw it the other day, I enjoyed it, agree with everyone about the ending. It was just an entertaining two hours is how I saw it.

I am a fan of Cage, esp in Captian Corelli's Mandolin and Adaptation.

Why did the kid start writing yet more numbers near the end - to warn of what??

The problem was that there was no point in warning humanity of a disaster they cannot survive. Just kidnap the kids and have done with it.

I heard one guy in the audience after I saw it comment "so it was just a bunch of intergalactic pedophiles."

As for using the Beethoven theme - funny how it was used in ads soon after the release.

Maybe the Symphonies are coming out in a new edition? Entertaining, but not entirely satisfactory. A bit like bad sex.

As for the "finished mystery " picture - this is one that is common in literature about the Illuminati.

Nup, won't see it anytime soon as am totally sick of Nicholas Cage.

Just saw it last night. Very Biblical in my opinion.

Thank you Angharad! I wasn't sure I saw that.

RR, which pic was from The Finished Mystery? I thought one looked oddly familiar.
