I wear a suit jacket or blazer 365 days a year, currently rotating 16 jackets.
I am allergic to tobacco and perfumes and various household cleaners.
Any suggestions as to how I can clean them myself, without the hazards of going to a drycleaner?

Turn it inside out (so as to avoid fading) and hang it out in the midday sun for a couple of hours.
I'm concerned about theft. Could I hang it in a window facing the sun?
No. It needs fresh air.
What about the TOBi that is seen on infomercials?
steam cleaner? no chemicals, will get out odours but i dont think it does much for stains
I don't have stains to worry about I just want to keep things fresh and odour-free, without getting "ripped off" [a.k.a. "hosed", a.k.a. "taken to the cleaners"
One way to cut down on the number of times you have to wear a suit would be to leave the Jehovah's Witness cult.
I cleaned all my suits out years ago.
I'd go with steam... perhaps one of those hand held steamers for getting the creases out?
