Being provoking can be quite good,
If it means we're better understood.
Even better than that, which we surely must be
Is to be under the hand of Theocracy.
The way of the Truth is quite simple, Christ said.
It's the narrow, cramped road that we do well to tread.
The broad-minded way that men thinks in their mind
Turns into many as they leave God behind.
Hallelu Yah is not Yee-haw!
The one is quite reverent; the other: outlaw!
The one is blessed with self-control;
The other is just on a roll!
C.S. Lewis and Mister Tolkien
Are still popular fare and widely seen
But what does the Bible, a superior tome
Say about the worlds they chose to roam?
Mysticism and magic, potions and tricks
Are a trap for those curious to adventure flicks.
The profit-loving seekers are blind to the light
For they mix up and twist up both wrong and right.
Birthdays are most holy for Satanists
They glorify self with the focus on lists.
Of guests and of treats and of fun, fun, fun.
And of anything they want under the Sun.
It's easy for many to quote the day
When their Mom and the Doctors labored away.
But the gift of life was months before
When Jehovah chose their parents for the awesome chore.
We each have the choice as to what we'll provoke.
It's much more serious than a rhyme or a joke.
Do we live just within in our comfort zone?
Or do we rather live higher, by the truths from Jah's throne?
