Why the WT is ultimately doomed

How many apostates are becoming witlesses? Only those who they successfully recapture (and there is a sky high cost of doing that, so they generally only do that in cases where they feel there is exceptionally high value in doing so), those with family ties and wishing to see their families again, and those who find themselves unable to do their own thinking (or are too lazy). Most apostates would just as soon stay that way--those returning for family are actually wanting to get their families out of the cancer (this is probably why the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger pushes so hard to get the whole family in--so they will have a miserable time if they ever leave themselves).

In the world, relatively few people are coming in. Up to about 1993, the witlesses could come to the door and give people their only exposure to the Bible, and they would have few resources to verify it. From that point on, anyone could research with a mouse click (and that is getting worse by the year). Most of the people coming in these days are either very poor, have a mental issue, under severe duress of whatever kind, or are drunk or stoned when they accept the study. These are the ones that are easily defrauded into joining (promise of the opposite sex, a better job, freedom from illness, or being able to have material things). Some will fall for that scam.

Basically, all that's left is family that is born in. They are going to push bringing in men from outside, but I predict that there will be more false hope, bumbling (continuing to study without making progress), and failures to generate interest than anything. One could regular pio-sneer for 4 years (and be sincere, doing everything so as to succeed, and not dogging it), just look for men, and be lucky to get even one--while spending almost 3500 hours working around and on men, kissing men's butts in an attempt to get them to progress, and finding close to 100 of them (or more) just to have a 30% chance of getting one of them to join.

the need for a watchtower will soon be over with Armageddon, paradise is upon us

    How long, Spike?

    One year?

    Two??

    Three???

All my Dad's 'use by' dates are well gone. He still thinks the generation of 1914 will still be alive at armageddon despite it being cancelled in a study article fourteen years ago. Poor sad old fool. All his 'soon's have died and his God didn't come and save him from death or hip replacements or his son's disrespect.

His arrogance doesn't buy him salvation from his foolishness.

    They digged their own grave...

Almost every JW is doubting the reason why they cannot celebrae their birthday.

Almost every JW is doubting the reason why they cannot use blood.

Almost every JW who hears about WTS being a "former" NGO is doubting the GB.( My mother didn't want to see the evidence "because"she said "I might hesistate in my believe", saying this means she was already thinking and doubting).

And than al the things they gave up because the end was near?

I think we just have to wait for the next new light or prophecy and the WTS will colapse

"[Spike Tassel] is NOT one of Jehovah's Witnesses" and I don't doubt the benefits of not celebrating my "birthday", actually it was my mum's 1st, birthday that is. She finished having birthdays at 3, the number of children born live.

I don't doubt the reason I don't use blood. If animal's blood is out and they cannot sin, then why would I want some sinner's blood with his sin floating all through it.

I don't doubt the GB. They make pronouncements as I do, based on the sound conclusions they come to based on analysing the Bible and whatever else they're exposed to.

We all have to choose our priorities. What we don't choose, we've given up. What we choose to get rid of, we've given up.

The WTS collapsing would be just like the IBSA going defunct; it would mean that the WTS was no longer needed, having been replaced by something else more worthwhile

JW's are also questioning the "food at the proper time" argument.

Increasingly, due to the lack of suitable brothers, the sisters are marrying in the world.

Lurkers, take note of this thread: It's exactly why I offer the conclusion that Watchtower, Inc is doomed while individual Witnesses can endlessly drag themselves to meetings, long after the cash flow is gone.

My, my, my .. It's almost as if they are positioning themselves for such a failure! Observe and learn the tragedy of blind faith. Did they utter false prophecy again and again across 120+ years? Don't worry, it's just a test of the faithful.

Are they losing donations? It's only because the End is "Soon".

Losing young people? Losing elders? Losing court cases that cost them big time? Clearly, it's all an adjustment by Jehovah.

Hypothetically, could the Governing Body molest young boys on a parade float being towed down Broadway at high noon while drinking blood?

Well, it's still the "truth", brother.

Please give me an update, when (1) Your local Kingdom Hall closes and sends everyone home or (2) the number of publishers drops below six million. We can have this discussion again.

It seems to me that our perception is grounded in Reality. Theirs is not. They're unconcerned with practical/real concerns. Their minds are controlled and they'd rather be DEAD and than leave WT.

WT will be going strong long after we're dead.

Ponder over the 1975 event and the loss of membership and the implications of the disappointment. Yet, they bounced back.

They've got teams of monkeys to fabricate urgency in a manner that will get the attention of their captive audience.

How many of us have heard from our JW families that this year's District Convention was the "best ever". That's what my parents said. This, despite the fact that the "spiritual food" spewing from Brooklyn is as stupid as ever.

Rumors of WT's demise have been widely exaggerated IMHO.
