I'm not a believer in a new system but if it happens and people do come in different colors, I think it would be nice if no one will even notice.

    Thank you Atlantis

Sarcasm on: All we need to now is a picture of the GB lined up in a row waiting their turn to whip that ignorant black man tied to the post. “We love you black brother” (Crack of the whip) “We pray that god makes you white” (Crack of the whip) “We pray for you to be as smart as us” (Crack of the whip) “god loves you servant brother” (Crack of the whip) :Sarcasm off

Of course the JW apologist won’t be willing to comment lest they whip themselves with there own tongues.

It pains me to know the truth about JW’s sometimes and this is one of those times.

Uhm, Atlantis? Double-check the photos of the current Governing Body; I believe that they DO have a black Governing Body member now... Not that they are subsequently excused for NOT having one for over 100 years...

Excused! Isn't there an even higher position no black man has ever reached in the Watchtower Society? Tell us, what is the name of the black man who has ever been made Watchtower president? Give us a scan of his picture!

All these quotes show is an early need to try and come to terms with getting rid of racism but the message was still that all got equality. It's clear to see the inequality of judging by skin tone was dawning on them in awareness as a group and not from public opinion around them. So actually these old publicationss do serve as a testament to them getting to total equality for all men through their own ways not the world around them.

What, by saying that God will make black people white? Bonkers.

no by dropping that teaching when the realisation came it was from men and not God. Another religion would have kept it or just slightly adjusted aka mormons but Jws just got rid of it and allowed the adjustment from clearly their own understandings of the bible.

What makes me agree with Jws is the fact they are humble enough to recognise were mistakes have crept in and make the changes even if the shallow judgemental people will view this against them. Jw's accept they are fallible unfortunately the anti-witnesses cannot accept fallibility in their overseers they want what isn't yet available.

You would make a good Catholic Reniaa. I heard one say almost exactly that about the Catholic Church.

Actually I see things very differently Reniaa, what I see is an organization (prominently white ) trying to figure out how to deal with the black man period. Which is understandable at the secular level as segregation, prejudice and racism was openly practiced in the US. In the North where the organization first started, this mindset was firmly entrenched even though the North fought the South over slavery, (this was primarily for economic reason and not true equality of all men). But since we discussing religious beliefs and actions or inaction one would have thought that they would have been spiritually guided to treat all equally. What we see is these men making concessions based on the common secular thought at the time. Instead of treating all as equals from day one as one would expect from those claim to follow gods word, they allowed there actions and inactions to be fueled by what was commonly accepted personally and by the masses at the secular level. If they were spirit guided men and woman we would not be having this discussion period. History itself would attest that these peoples were truly guided by love, compassion, respect, equality and the love of god. Not 10, 20 or 50years later.

    Thats my opinion.
